‘SCUFD.’ is the pseudonym of artist Max Bicknell. The name speaks to Max’s focus on human imperfection. His work is informed by mental health and human interaction.

Educated in illustration and design across Central Saint Martins College, Arts University Bournemouth, and York St John University, Max has a diverse set of skills within the arts.

Max’s main interests currently lie in branding, advertising, and editorial illustration - but as a recent graduate, he is eager to dip his toes into many fields. If you have an idea in a different area, don’t hesitate to reach out!

Outside of work, Max enjoys bouldering, running, and spending time with friends, family and his dogs. He aims to travel in the coming years and is trying to learn Spanish!
